In this section we need to mention:
In terms of camera angles and shots, I have a fair idea of some of the shots and angles in which I want to use in my five-minute documentary, even though I will be fairly unsure of the detail of the shots until I have actually shot the film.
The following shots angles are those of which I feel I would like to include in my project, even though some may perhaps not be used.
Low-angle shot - with the camra under a clear cover, filming rain drops falling.
High angle shot of the surfer running down to the beach.
Mid-shots of all interviews.
Low angle shots from below the surfers on the waves.
Canter angle shots when the surfer is on the wave.
Point of view shot from a camera fixed on the nose of the surfboard.
Long shot when the surfers are walking over beach/rocks and any other terrain.
As you can see my plan is to include a range of camera shots and angles.
In terms of organizing props for the documentary, not as much time will be spend on this aspect of the project as with others, this is due to the fact that I will be outdoors with enough scenery on set to producs media-realism anway.
The only props in which I will really need to organizse before hands is the surfboard/s in which are placed by the couch during interviews number two and four.
